| 内容記述 | 2006年度4月期1、2組では、学習者が自分で本を選んで自分のペースで楽しみながら読めるようになることと、教師の説明がなくても学びの場になる教室活動を実現することを目指して「読書の時間」の授業を行った。本稿の前半では、この授業を行うまでの経緯と授業の実際を報告する。後半では、授業後に行った学習者へのアンケート及びインタビュー調査の結果から明らかになった問題点と改善点について述べ、このような活動において教師はどのような役割を担えばよいのかについて考察する。 | |||||||||

| 内容記述 | A "Silent Reading Class" was offered for two classes 1 and 2, from April of fiscal 2006. The goal was for students to learn how to choose a book and enjoyably read at their own pace, and for students to create a learning environment in the classroom without instruction by a lecturer. The first half of this paper reported the history up to offering a "Silent Reading Class" , as well as the actual situation of the class. The second half of the paper discussed the problem areas and areas to improve for a "Silent Reading Class" that were clarified according to questionnaires and interviews completed by applicants after the class. This information was further used to discuss the role of the lecturer upon offering such class. | |||||||||
