| 内容記述 | kimono and kimono designs in Kyoto. According to the survey, we created a list of collections which holds materials related to this research, and interviewed curators of the collections. 2. We made a list of all the article headings in the newspaper Senshoku Hinode Shinbun (Dyeing Industry News Paper) published between April 1932 and March 1933. 3. In the modern period, department stores played important roles for introducing new designs and creating new fashion trends. We chose Takashimaya Hyakusenkai (seasonal event to introduce kimono with new designs at Takashimaya Department Store) to research how department stores were involved in the kimono culture. We interviewed former employees of the Design Office of the Takashimaya Department Store. 4. We conducted a research of kimono worn by Oharame (women of Ohara). The results are put into an exhibition “Oharame” at Kyoto Institute of Technology Museum and Archives (28 January – 23 February, 2013) All four approaches have shed light on situations surrounding historical materials related to kimono culture in Kyoto. In addition, a number of historically important materials were found. This study, however, needs further research in order to construct a comprehensive view of kimono culture and the dyeing industry of modern Kyoto. By using the results of this study, we will continue working on this topic |

| 内容記述 | 本研究では京都市内の近代染織、とりわけ着物・着物図案に関する資料の残存状況の調査と、そこで収集した資料の活用の方法を探る。主な活動は下記の通りである。 （１）京都市内の残存する資料の所在と現状把握のためのアンケート調査を2010年度実施した。その回答結果をもとに、各所蔵機関への訪問・聞き取り調査を実施した。 （２）昭和初期の京都市内の染織業界の動向を知るため、その基礎資料として『染織日出新聞』の調査を開始した。書誌情報（発刊日ほか）の調査を行い、1932年4月から1933年3月までの記事の目録化をおこなった。 （３）着物図案の流行をリードした百貨店意匠部の活動を把握するため、高島屋・百選会に関する聞き取り調査(座談会)を実施した。 （４）大原女の衣装に関する聞き取り調査をおこなった。また、その成果報告として展覧会を実施した。 本共同研究ではこれまで知られていない染織資料の収集と分析はもちろんのこと、アンケート、聞き取り調査や訪問調査を通じ、資料のおかれている現状を把握することができた。また、京都を中心とした染織産業の新たな側面や興味深い資料を目にすることができた。しかし、3年間では近代京都を中心とした染織業全体を網羅できたとは言い難い。今後は共同研究を踏まえ、さらに研究を発展させて京都を中心とした染織業や服飾文化の様相を明らかにしていきたい。 |
