Through examination of ancient art and archaeological material found in East and West Asia, and improvement of baseline data for research, this study aims to clarify various characteristics of clothing of Han and Hu peoples. Furthermore a relation between clothing and ethnic identity expressed in clothing, and political and social functions performed by clothing will be considered. |

本研究では、東アジアから西アジア方面までを視野に入れて現存する美術作品や考古資料を実査し、研究の基礎となるデータを整備、胡漢諸民族の様々な服飾の特徴を作例によって明らかにすることを目指す。さらに、人間にとっての服飾とアイデンティティーの関係、服飾が有する政治的、社会的意味や機能についても考えてみたい。 |
