The importance of clothing for care was investigated from the welfare perspective. The results from researches in Kuji City, Iwate Prefecture, showed that clothing can play important role in care. Also, in order to understand the production and sales of clothing for the purpose of welfare, interviews with sales manager and chief executives from clothing company in Tokyo, Osaka, and some other cities were conducted. Clothing for care will be continuously examined over a long period. Then, the clothing culture for welfare in Japan will be discussed. |
