Based on this fact, I believe there is a need to teach the students how to properly use electronic dictionaries. As a result, I created teaching materials and conducted classroom lecture for non-kanji background users to learn how to look up the reading and meaning of kanji words. However, through classroom lectures in this area, it became apparent that there was a significant difference in specifications and functions according to the model of the electronic dictionaries, and therefore, these specifications became a major point to take into consideration to properly pro-vide instruction on using electronic dictionaries. I especially realized that there was a need to review this learning materials and the instruction details of the classes teaching users how to use electronic dictionaries with a writing pad.
