As the result, that white is the color which concerns a funeral ceremony deeply in which area did it become clear.  For white in a Japanese funeral ceremony, a Shinto ritual and a funeral fact are telling the ancient tradition of same root.  White was god-like and the spiritual color. White of burial clothes and a mourning dress in China is the color of the root of a matter and also is the color to which the end everything is sent.  White in India means purity and cleanliness.  White in Islam is the color Allah likes most, symbolizing heaven which beams.  White in Catholic shows a hope of a rebirth.  Thus the white meaning in the funeral ceremony seems different depending on countries and religions.
