In the 1980s, both Tokyo and Antwerp were the cradles of cutting-edge fashion taking the lead in changing the Fashion System. The exhibition “6+ Antwerp Fashion” at the Tokyo Opera City Art Gallery (11 April-28 June, 2009), compared fashion from the two cities. The first generation of Antwerp designers were influenced by Tokyo Fashion, especially after the visit to Osaka and Tokyo in 84 and 85, which were important landmarks in the birth of the “Antwerp 6” in 1986. The results of our first year’s research are published　in the exhibition catalogue and in SOEN (pp.26-49, May, 2009). The second year, we organized a symposium “Talking on Antwerp Fashion” on April 11, 2009, as a main event for the “6+ Antwerp Fashion” exhibition. Geert Bruloot, promoter of the first generation of Antwerp designers, Hirofumi Kurino, buyer and Keiko Hirayama, journalist both knowledgeable on the reception of Antwerp Fashion to Japan participated as well as Akira Naka, Mikio Sakabe, Yuima Nakazato, three Japanese graduates from the Fashion Department of the Antwerp Royal Academy of Art. Now we focus on analyzing Tokyo fashion in the 21th century in preparation of an exhibition showing at the Tokyo Opera City Art Gallery (18 Nov.-25 Dec. 2011) and the Kobe Fashion Museum (14 Jan. - 1 Apr. 2012) . Simultaneously in 2010, two important museums abroad organized exhibitions focusing on contemporary Japanese fashion, proving it to be globally a hot topic. “Future Beauty: 30 Years of Japanese Fashion “at the Barbican Art Gallery in London narrates Japanese Fashion as the “big three,” Issey Miyake, Comme des Garçon and Yohji Yamamoto, and the followers. ” Japan Fashion Now” exhibition at the Museum of the Fashion Institute of Technology, New York shows Tokyo as a wonderland of Gothic-Lolita, street fashion and up-and-coming brands. The aim of our exhibition is to extract the reality of fashion in Tokyo where fashion is one of various cultural elements. We select independent brands that best symbolize Tokyo fashion, keeping distance from trends, realizing problems of contemporary fashion and not only making clothes but also being active in cross-cultural exchange. The exhibition will demonstrate structure of contemporary Tokyo fashion design through installations and videos by these brands. The catalogue will record the dialogue between designers and members of this research group","subitem_description_type":"Abstract"},{"subitem_description":"社会学・美術史学の研究者とファッション編集者が結成した本研究グループは、東京のファッション動態に関する3年間の共同研究の結果を、本年秋、今日の東京ファッションを象徴するデザイナーたちとのダイアログを結実させた現代東京のファッションデザイン展で発表する。1980年代に、東京とアントワープは、ファッションの前衛の揺籃の地であり、ファッションシステムを変貌させる契機をつくった。東京オペラシティアートギャラリーにおける「６＋アントワープ・ファッッション」展（2009年4月11日―6月28日）を準備していた本研究チームは、ポストモダンのファッションを代表する両都市を比較し、現代日本ファッションの特質を探った。アントワープの第一世代のデザイナーたちは、1986年の「アントワープの6人」誕生の直前、1894年に大阪、1895年に東京を訪問し、特に東京のファションクリエーションとビジネスに影響を受けていたことが明らかになった。詳細は、展覧会カタログと『装苑』5月号に発表した。平成21年度、「６＋アントワープ・ファッッション」展の関連行事としてシンポジウム「アントワープを語る」を開催した。ゲストには、アントワープの第一世代デザイナーを世に出したヒェールト・ブリュロート、アントワープ・ファッションの日本への受容の当事者・目撃者バイヤーの栗野宏文とジャーナリストの平山景子、アントワープ王立美術アカデミー・ファッション科の日本人卒業生、坂部三樹郎、中章、中里唯馬を迎えた。現在は、21世紀の東京ファッションの特質分析に集中し、その成果を社会に還元するため展覧会（2011年10月18日―12月25日東京オペラシティアートギャラリー、2012年1月14日―4月1日神戸ファッション美術館）の準備をおこなっている。2010年には、海外の重要な二つの美術館が同時に現代日本ファッションに関する展覧会を開催し、このテーマが世界的に重要度を増していることが明らかになった。ロンドンのバービカン・アートギャラリーの「日本ファッション30年展」では、1980年代に世界の舞台に登場した三宅一生（ISSEY MIYAKE）、山本耀司（ヨウジヤマモト）、川久保玲（コム・デ・ギャルソン）とその後継者たちによる日本ファッションの30年史が語られた。ニューヨークのファッション工科大学付属美術館の「現在の日本ファション」展では、東京をゴシックロリータ、ストリートファッション、そしてつぎつぎに現れるブランドが入り混じったワンダーランドとして展示している。本研究グループが目指すのは、様々な文化のひとつとしてファッションがある東京のリアリティーを抽出・展示する展覧会である。流行から距離をおき、現在のファッションの問題を意識しており、単なる服作りだけでなく、異なるジャンルのカルチャーとの交流を展開しているブランドを選び、東京ファッションを象徴させる。展覧会場における映像やインスタレーションによって、現代の東京におけるファッションデザインの構造を立体的に分析し、一般に公開したい。また、デザイナーと研究メンバーとのダイアログを展覧会図録に掲載する。","subitem_description_type":"Abstract"}]},"item_8_full_name_2":{"attribute_name":"著者(ヨミ)","attribute_value_mlt":[{"nameIdentifiers":[{}],"names":[{"name":"タカギ,
