A preliminary investigation into the relation between the new image of “masculinity” and the magazine was conducted in March. Five hundred men are completing a questionnaire on the Internet. The main components are items concerning “MEN’S NON-NO,” “masculinity,” and consumption behavior. Meanwhile, a database is being developed on men’s studies and cultural studies in Europe and the United States.
