As stockings and socks play an important role in women's fashion，their design depends on the degree to which women are conscious of their exposed legs. The results of a questionnaire revealed that a casual style was preferred by more than half of the respondents，while their fashion style reflected their high interest in fashion. While more than 30% of respondents indicated that they wore miniskirts on a daily basis，roughly 80% of them did not care if those of the opposite sex looked at their exposed legs. However，they were averse to undergarments that spilled out of clothes.
